Kearsley High School 1949 Seventh grade

The Flint Automobile CO.

The Flint Automobile CO. produced the first cars built in Flint. Owned by A.B.C Hardy, they produced  52 automobiles between 1901-1903

Oak Groove Sanitarium

 Governor Henry Crapo sold the land to Oak Grove Corporation. The first buildings were constructed in 1891.In 1920 the Flint Board of Education had purchased the Oak Grove Sanitarium and the 60 acres of adjacent land for the building of a new high school. The picture below shows the remaining buildings before they were demolished.
